Install PassionWave
Open the PassionWave repository in HACS, download the integration, and restart Home Assistant when HACS asks. HACS itself must already be installed for this beta.

Open in HACSSwitch the complete device off and on once. This opens the secure 20-minute setup window on both processors.
Add PassionWave and select this RotaryKnob's S3 and Bridge. PassionWave uses ESPHome 2026.7 to generate and install an individual encryption key for each processor, then creates both ESPHome entries. No key is shown or entered. Continue with Music Assistant, the player, and visible playlists, radio stations, and podcasts.
Add PassionWaveOpen the PassionWave integration, choose Configure, and select up to four lights. V3 does not require light or media blueprints.
Open PassionWaveTurn the encoder, browse beyond the first media page, change volume, switch a light, and open weather. Both processor endpoints should show “Connected”.
Open test guideThe PassionWave integration loads playlists, radio, and podcasts directly from Music Assistant and preloads the next page before scrolling reaches the end. Optional features such as radar and floorplan do not block basic setup.
